Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya This is a fairly common issue with laptops the problems stems from a faulty driver that is only recognized in safe mode so what you need to do is to first is use a external mouse then when the computer is running in normal mode go to device manager and under the hardware section go to the pointer or mouse and right click on it and select remove then let the computer uninstall the mouse driver DONT WORRY IT IS NOT TOTALLY REMOVING THE MOUSE after the uninstall is complete restart the computer and once it is up and running again a new hardware found will show up on the task bar and it will reinstall the driver from there once this is complete you should be ok However if not then youwill need to windowx the computer back to a time before this happned or simply restore it to windods factory settings ok?
