I have been using Kensington Trackballs for a long time Expert Mouse and it’s predecessors and always loved the way they worked.
I haven’t seen anything like that since the short-lived Logitech V mouse. I currently have a wired Logitech Marble Mouse and it works great. It is quite difficult to find a good portable trackball – the Kensington Slim Blade mentioned above is not bad, but it’s not really great, either – and after 15 years I am starting to give up hope that Logitech will start manufacturing the Trackman Voyager again Not great, but close to it.
Here are my results. I think Kensington shoul come up with software to disable it or some kind of protective cover for the ring to keep it from being touched inadvertently. In summary, I would say that this is by far the best mobile trackball currently available that I am aware of.
In my opinion, it has one “killer feature” that sets it apart from other pointing devices that I have tried. Not so with this one. Rated 3 out of 5 by Jmistudio from Okay, but not great.
